Itinerary:

A representative of our company will stop by your hotel to pick them up from 03:30 a.m. to 04:00 p.m. then head south to the city of Cusco on board a tourist transport shared with other clients, after 2 hours with about 45 minutes we will arrive to the Community of Quesiuno, where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast facilitated by our specialized staff. Then we will start our long hike to the mountain of colors for a time of approximately 3 hours, in the way we will have the opportunity to optionally rent horses that will diminish our effort to reach the top, and also en route we will see desert landscapes, peaks, glaciers, herds of alpacas and more.
Along the walk you will pass by a fascinating scenery that contrasts with the great snow-covered Ausangate that in turn rises in the distance. You will also experience firsthand how the locals maintain an experiential activity at those heights, even seeing them in the daily hard work.
As we approach the mountain of colors, we will begin to see the first samples of the minerals that make up the vivid colors that are observed in the mountains. Then our last effort will be to reach a nearby hill that is used as a natural lookout, which gives us a 360-degree overview of the fascinating landscape around. This place allows us to make the best shot of the famous mountain of colors, as well as the majestic snow-capped Ausangate.
Finally we return to the community of Quesiuno, where we will enjoy our well deserved buffet lunch from 14:00 hrs, before returning to the city of Cusco.
